The Only FDA-Cleared Treatment For Nonsurgical Skin Lifting & Tightening

Starting at $450 per area

Gone are the days when cosmetic surgery was the only option for people who wanted to achieve effective lifting and tightening of the skin. Ultherapy® offers a welcomed aesthetic innovation for lifting and tightening skin without surgery. In fact, it’s the only technology cleared by the FDA to actually “lift” the skin of the neck, chin, and brow. To put it simply, Ultherapy is as close as you can get to a facelift or necklift without surgery or downtime.

How does Ultherapy work to lift and tighten skin without surgery?

Ultherapy does its magic by stimulating your skin’s own natural collagen production by delivering micro-focused ultrasound energy to the deeper foundation layer underneath the skin called the SMAS. It’s typically the SMAS that’s tightened during surgical facelift procedures. The ultrasound energy then triggers a natural response in the SMAS layer, kickstarting the process that creates new collagen and eventually producing a natural-looking lifting and tightening in the treatment area.

While Ultherapy won’t lead to the more dramatic results of a surgical facelift, it can be an effective alternative for people of all skin types in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati. It’s also a great treatment option to smooth lines and wrinkles on the chest/décolletage.

Am I a candidate for Ultherapy?
If you have some degree of skin laxity, such as loose skin under the neck and chin or lines and wrinkles on the chest, then you may be a good candidate for treatment with Ultherapy. Typical patients are people in their 30s and older who are bothered by mild to moderate skin laxity but not ready or willing to undergo facelift surgery. For the most part, anyone seeking a smoother, tighter, and younger-looking appearance may be good candidates. At your Skin Esteem consultation, our knowledgeable staff will go over all the details and help you determine if Ultherapy is right for you.
Does Ultherapy treatment hurt?
Because of its ability to penetrate to deeper layers of tissue compared to other noninvasive technologies, Ultherapy does feature some intensity that some patients may find uncomfortable during treatment. But your comfort is our priority, so we offer Pronox relaxation gas so you can experience the advantages of this amazing treatment with as little discomfort as possible.
Is there any recovery time needed after Ultherapy treatment?
You won’t need any downtime after your Ultherapy treatment. Your skin will likely appear flushed immediately following your session, but this usually disappears within a few hours. Due to the innovative technology that addresses the deeper layers of tissue, some patients may experience mild swelling or tenderness in the treatment area, but these effects usually subside fairly quickly. Less common side effects may be temporary bruising or numbness in the treatment area. We’ll discuss everything you can expect at your consultation.
When will I notice results from Ultherapy treatment?
A lot of patients notice some degree of improvement almost immediately following their Ultherapy treatment, but optimal results of tighter, smoother skin gradually begin to appear in the weeks following. That’s because it takes a little time to kick the collagen production into high gear.
How long do Ultherapy results last?
Since it stimulates your body’s own collagen production process, the length of time your results last will depend on your individual body chemistry. In general, best results appear gradually over two to three months and can last up to a year or more depending on your lifestyle and natural aging process. You can choose future touch-up treatments to help maintain long-lasting improvement.
